What's goin' on, y'all? I tend to promote live sets and debut music, but I wanted to share my craft via blogging... just like Charles Hamilton.
-I DJ mostly only my music. Your song has been heard and internalized. When I get behind the deck, I'm dooin my thang.
-My signature deck is the Pioneer DDJ SB-300. I burned out every deck I had, so now I'm looking to use Alchemist's Roland deck (not his exact joint, but...). I don't use seperate turntables and mixers out of respect for the forefathers (GMF, AfBam, KlHrc, etc), with the knowledge that I'm coming with something new and different. I make Elektro.
-My stage show is an altar, with my Tarot Deck, Bible and Quran in front of my turntables and laptop. My DJ setup is Philadelphia Style, with the laptop serving as the mixer and my turntable deck right next to it. I span from Charles Hamilton, to C. Hamilton, to Jr., to The Talented Mr. Hamilton to DOOM Williams!.
-I don't take requests.
-Weed smoke is more than welcome. Beers are likely served. I don't smoke nor drink onstage anymore.
-I leave Dilla alone with live sets. The wise know better. However, there are some classic CH/JD joints in the stash...
DJing is a personal passion of mine. Just when I thought I pushed myself to the max with music, the opportunity presented itself. I seized the moment, and haven't looked back. I've done a lot from jail. Include live DJ sets (halfway house). When the time is right, I'm shutting shit down.
And I won't stop abusing it.
